Expression of Interest Form

Mānawa Mai Open Day is one of the biggest events on the University calendar - where we open our doors and showcase our campus to potential new students.

We are on the hunt for volunteers to help the University create a memorable Open Day experience. If you would like to represent the University community and help build an unforgettable Open Day experience for our future students, we want to hear from YOU!

To say 'Thank you', all volunteers will receive koha of $100 Westfield voucher, a Certificate and a FREE catered lunch.

*Note: If you're only able to volunteer for half a day, you will receive a koha of $50 Westfield voucher.

Why do you want to be a Volunteer at Open Day?

Areas of interest

What area of Mānawa Mai Open Day would you be best suited to Volunteer in? Select as many as you'd like.

Information about each area:

Runner

  • The magnitude of this event requires a large pool of people that help our Production Team with filling in general requests such as setting up the environment, delivering brochures or campus maps, restocking on snacks, crowd control and covering any other gaps around campus during the day.

Wayfinding

  • Become that friendly face that can assist visitors with finding their way around our campuses. Additionally, you would be familiar with the Programme for the day and would be the one to assist visitors with locating their next activity.

Info Help Desks

  • Provide information about the event and the programme for the day. Answer questions about the campus and provide directions to all visitors.

Welcoming Crew

  • Be the first point of contact for our prospective students as they step foot on our campus for the first time.

Activation Support

  • University of Auckland is putting on a vibrant series of activities throughout the day to highlight our campus in the best light possible. You would be assisting with running some of those awesome activities

Volunteer Shifts

Available Shifts:

  • Full Day Shift -  8:00am - 5:00pm
  • Morning Shift - 8:00am - 12:30pm 
  • Afternoon Shift - 12:30pm - 5:00pm
